Documenting the Ordinary Everyday – Barber Shop Fremantle

One of my most favourite things is documenting the ordinary everyday, these early years of family life are zipping past so fast I don’t want to forget a single thing, even the absolute frustration of taking a toddler for a hair cut.

Recently I took part in a course from The Define School with Christine Pobke. It has been a huge game changer for me,  one of the most valuable lessons I learnt was to not be afraid to get out my camera, even with onlookers frowny facing and thinking you’re mad. Today’s adventure was to Kennedy’s Barber Shop in Fremantle, there was definitely no frowny faces from the staff there, but then again it is Fremantle and they are probably used to complete nutter clients.
