The International Portrait Masters 2018 Silver Award

This image was awarded a silver at the international portrait masters 2018. It’s not my usual style but I took this because I wanted to show my daughter how beautiful she is. She came home from school one day upset. She told me she didn’t like her hair and she wished she was pretty like the girls with blonde hair and blue eyes in her class. It’s so upsetting as a mother to hear this and she was so excited to see her photo displayed on the big screen at the portrait master conference in Arizona.

I wish I could show every kid they are gorgeous and unique just the way they are.
